Marcello A. Cirigliano joined the law firm in June of 2017 and was named partner of Johnson Foley & Cirigliano, P.C. in January of 2018. Marcello earned his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and his J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Marcello is a lifelong resident of Orange County, who returned to the community to serve as an Assistant District Attorney for five years in the office of the Orange County District Attorney, from January 2008 through February 2013. In his career as an A.D.A., Marcello had the opportunity to prosecute a wide array of cases, from misdemeanor and felony Driving While Intoxicated to Major Violent Felonies. As a member of the Special Victims Unit, Marcello was responsible for the prosecution of felony cases that were related to domestic violence and sex crimes.

Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office in 2013, Marcello has developed a diverse practice representing clients in all level of courts throughout the Hudson Valley in the areas of Personal Injury, Commercial and Civil Litigation, DWI Defense, Landlord-Tenant, Guardianship and Probate proceedings. Additionally, Marcello advises clients in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Estate Planning and Business Formation.

Marcello is admitted to practice in New York State, and before U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
